Paid training, flexible route schedule, the majority of non-TMC truckers out there would tell me how they were driving for the best company. Boost to @ least 66 MPH. Ken says: April 26, 2017 9:50 am. We did the whole Route 66 back (Chicago – Santa Monica Pier) in 2012. I must admit we got lost many times and had to backtrack, but I put that down to riding a Harley and trying to memorize each day’s route.

On this tour we also take in Nevada. During your tour we will take in much of Route 66’s history, original roads, restaurants, gas stations, and nostalgic landmarks that have been preserved exactly as they were in the 1950’s / 60’s.

Over the 16 days you will visit Chicago, Springfield, St Louis, Joplin, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Santa Fe, Gallup, Holbrook, Winslow, Williams, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Barstow, Victorville and Santa Monica Pier. Join us on an Amazing Adventure with memories that will last a lifetime. Wow what can I say bc bike tour for route 66 incredible started in Chicago and rode to l.a amy mark and graham our tour guides for 18 days were absolutely amazing.

The whole group of us mixed well together laughing and joking day by day, the scenery was fabulous 117 degrees in the Mojave desert 120 degrees in las vegas every where we stopped people were so polite and helpful. Big upside was the fact they only take a dozen bikes so as to keep it close and personal not like the eagle tour where there is 20/25 bikes at a time, we also had a few surprises care of mark if you want to know what they were then join them next year you wont be disappointed, my wife and I have signed up for Normandy ride out next year, that's how well organised bc tours are. Still cant say how well pleased I was with all concerned fantastic would do it all again, thanks Darren, amy, mark, graham, will see you at nec bike show for more chats.

Kartinki na avu vk dlya pacanov najk pc. This was my second holiday with BC Tours and yet again it did not fail to impress. Well organised by the ever friendly Amy ( who also drives the support truck!) and led by Mark who is very knowledgeable about the route (and also has a great sense of humour). We rode through some varied landscapes, green fields, canyons, mountains and deserts. With loads to see along the way and plenty of stops for water and refreshments we still covered decent mileage everyday without ever feeling rushed. I also have a new found respect for Harley Davidson's which proved to be totally comfortable for me and my pillion.

With BC Tours the groups are small so it really is like riding with your mates, everyone agreed that they had enormously enjoyed the whole experience and it was something that would stay with them for years to come. So if you are thinking of taking the trip of a lifetime speak to BC Tours, you will not be disappointed!! We met Darren while travelling Route 66 as a couple. We had hired our bikes through EagleRider which in hindsight was more difficult than we had imagined.

Navigating the old Route 66 by ourselves was much more challenging than we had thought, and we were often lost or hit dead ends on the way. We also had a mix up in our accomodation from EagleRider (was booked for a Springfield in a different state) and some of the accomodation was average to say the least. We met Darren in Sante Fe and he invited us to dinner with his touring group. He (and the rest of his group) were all super friendly. Darren was great and provided us with fantastic route instructions and places to see through to LA. We ended up seeing amazing sights that we hadn't originally planned and would have missed if we hadn't run into Darren.

In 2016 I was able to undertake a number of motorcycle tours in the US, this one was for me the very best. To travel across America along Route 66 was a great feeling, to see the sights and to take in the hospitality of local residents as we passed though on our journey of discovery. One of the things I liked most about this tour was that it was a fairly small group unlike some of the other tour groups we met along the way. I was able to get to know everyone and shared many a great laugh as we passed along this iconic highway. In August 2016 I embarked on a what I thought was a one off road trip on in my wildest dreams from start to finish I was buzzing the sights I saw was out of my dreams finally riding the road which songs and movies are made about as they say get your kicks on Route66 that is so true some amazing sights along the way the people are so friendly and welcoming.
