I never get a chance to enter my serial number provided by Izotope. IZotope likely smartly decided paying iLok fees for a free plugin made no.
Hello, Ive been trying to install Izotope Vinyl for the last week. I receive the following error message on PT startup: 'Unauthorized Plug In. The following plug-ins failed to load because no valid authorization could be found or the iLok key was not connected; iZVinylAAXHook.aaplugin' I reached out to Izotope and they suggested reinstalling, and updating my C++ Windows files. This has not helped and they have stopped replying.
FYI I have successfully installed Izotope Ozone 7 a month prior. Please help, thank you. Hello, Ive been trying to install Izotope Vinyl for the last week. Please help, thank you Is your iLok plugged into a working/powered up USB port? Hp esr20 instrukciya. Windows by default has the uSB ports go into power saving mode both on laptops and desktops. Go to Windows Control Panel and turn off any power saving modes on all the USB ports. I never get a chance to enter my serial number provided by Izotope. I install the plugin, then launch PT11 and get the following: 'Unauthorized Plug In. Ive tried reinstalling numerous times. Is there ANYONE that has successfully installed Izotope Vinyl on their Windows-based Pro Tools 11? IIRC when downloading or authorizing on Izotope's website, can't remember where it was, you are asked if you want to use Serial Number or iLok to authorize.
If you chose iLok, but are trying to use the Serial Number I don't think that will work. With the new Vinyl I had no problems downloading, installing or authorizing to my iLok or using on Windows 8.1 and PT 12.5. There is nowhere to select iLok licensing for Vinyl.
It's serial number only AFAIK. If you know different could you post a screenshot of your ILM showing the Vinyl license. (blur/don't show other keys) This has nothing to do with iLok licensing that iZotope supports for other products. IZotope likely smartly decided paying iLok fees for a free plugin made no sense. Please note: A serial number is required in order to authorize and use Vinyl.
Vinyl will not operate without a serial number. To install Vinyl, please follow these three simple steps: 1.
Choose which version of the product installer to download, PC or Mac. After you download, run the product installer. After you run the installer, load Vinyl as a plug-in in your host. Great to see a confirmation that a Vinyl install works, but the other info does not actually help the OP, have a read of the original post carefully. The OP must have an Vinyl.aaxplugin file installed, (e.g. The correct/only AAX-64 version available) it's what is causing the Pro Tools bad plugin iLok hook error. The OP has a Vinyl serial number. But the plugin is never asking him for it. In fact his plugin is dead/inactivated at startup and can't be instantiated.
